What is Subflix?
Subflix is a free, privacy-first subscription manager designed to help you track recurring expenses, visualize your spending habits, and control your budget without sharing your personal data.
Is it really free?
Yes, Subflix is 100% free to use. There are no hidden fees, premium plans, or paywalls.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is needed. Since Subflix runs entirely in your browser and stores data locally on your device, there is no need to sign up or log in.
How does the Bank Statement Import work?
Our import feature runs 100% locally in your browser. When you select your bank statement (CSV), the file is processed instantly on your device to identify subscriptions. No financial data is ever uploaded to any server or seen by us.
Where is my data stored?
Your data stays on your device (in the browser's Local Storage). We do not have a database and cannot access your information. This ensures your financial privacy.
How do I backup or move my data?
You can use the 'Export JSON' feature in the settings to create a backup file. To move to another device or browser, simply export your data and use the 'Import' feature on the new device.
What are Subscription Moods?
Moods allow you to rate how you feel about each subscription (from Very Unsatisfied to Very Satisfied). This helps you identify which services bring value to your life and which ones might be worth cancelling.
How do I install the app?
Subflix is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You can install it on your phone or computer directly from the browser. On iOS, tap 'Share' > 'Add to Home Screen'. On Android/Chrome, tap the menu and select 'Install App'.
